Default Stuck on "connecting..."
For some reason I am unable to log in when I type in my user name and password for Guild Wars (actually sometimes I can, but it usually will get stuck later on when loading a map after I select my character). Normally, I can log in through my laptop when I am at home (router connection) or at my college's library's wireless/broadband connection through my laptop also, but it does not work when I try to log in from my student dorm room. I thought it was initially because of the school's firewall in my dorm room, but I dismissed this being the case since my roommate (by the way his security settings are the same as mine so I doubt it's McAfee) can log in from the same dorm room I am in. Some people who live in the dorms and play Guild Wars are able to log in too. I have tried disabling my McAfee virus protection and my firewall, but it still does not work. The tech support of Guild Wars has not been much help for the past five days either.
